Hosting
We’re more than just design. Redwing Studio offers state of the art hosting on Linux servers to ensure security and up time. Our servers are fibre channel SCSI for top operating speed and are RAID 5 configured to guarantee data integrity. In addition to our web servers we also provide a secure database server to ensure the protection of your data. Our servers are collocated with redundant power, backup generators, and 8 hour UPS battery backup so we can offer worry free hosting guarantees. Hosting packages are available with site development and for commercial clients.
Email/Webmail
Email - All hosting contracts include email. Having an email address at your domain name (yourname@yourdomain.com) adds an extra level of professionalism and legitimacy in the minds of visitors. We will guide you to configure your email program (Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, and yes even Outlook and Outlook Express) to retrieve your email from our servers. Webmail - In addition to our standard email service, we also include web based email for hosting clients. With web mail you can read and send email via a secure web page from any computer with an internet connection.
Site Maintenance and Updates
Although we give you the power to update your own site with content management systems (CMS), we realize that some sites change very little, and some people would rather have us make the changes. If you prefer to have us manage your web site we will be happy to include regular content updates into your package, or provide occasional changes for a nominal fee.
Domain Registration
Finding the right domain name can be a tedious and confusing challenge. Beyond being your address on the web, your domain name may even affect search engine rankings. Let us take the confusion out of the process by working with you to name and register your new domain. Domain name registration is a service that we provide to our clients at cost.
